The Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) has opened undergraduate applications for the 2027 academic year. Prospective students can now apply online for diplomas, higher certificates, and bachelor’s degrees across CPUT’s faculties.

- Late applications close: 30 September 2026 (selected programmes only, subject to availability)

Some high-demand programmes, including those in Health & Wellness Sciences, may close earlier than the general deadline, so applying early is strongly recommended.

How to Apply to CPUT for 2027
CPUT’s application process is completed entirely online in three steps:
- Choose a qualification — Review the 2027 undergraduate prospectus and pick the diploma, higher certificate, or degree that matches your interests and APS score.
- Submit supporting documents — Upload certified copies of your ID and academic records (matric results or latest school report).
- Apply online — Complete and submit your application through the official CPUT portal.

- Your Admission Point Score (APS), calculated from your six best NSC subjects (excluding Life Orientation)
