Step-by-Step Online Application Process

Vhembe TVET College uses a structured online portal to evaluate and place students correctly. Do not allow anyone else to complete your placement screening, as the system recommends courses based on your specific inputs.

1.Complete the Compulsory Pre-Entry Placement Test:Must be completed before applying.

Before accessing the application form, you must complete the Pre-Entry Placement Test. Click the “First Time Here?” button and complete all screening assessments in the “Pre-Entry Information” folder. Click “Finish” at the end of each assessment to save your progress. Write down your generated Username and Password immediately.

2.Access the Vhembe MyAccess Portal:Use an internet-enabled device.

Once your screening is complete, navigate to the main application portal via the college website. Log in using the credentials generated during your placement test.

3.Complete the Online Application Form:

Fill out the digital application form with accurate personal, contact, and academic details. Ensure your email address and mobile number are active, as the college will use these to communicate your application status.

4.Upload Supporting Documents:Must be certified within the last 3 months.

Scan and upload clear, certified copies of all mandatory documents. Uncertified, blurry, or missing documents will result in automatic disqualification. Once all files are attached, click “Submit.”

South African Citizens:

• Certified copy of the applicant’s ID.
• Certified copy of a parent/guardian’s ID.

• Valid proof of residence (municipal billing document or account statement not older than three months).

Foreign Applicants:

• Clear, certified copy of a valid passport.
• Valid South African study permit.

Students applying for the 2027 intake who require financial assistance can apply for the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS). The NSFAS application is a separate process from the college application and must be completed directly via the NSFAS portal (www.nsfas.org.za) once their specific application window opens later in the year.
